Strength in Times of Defeat

"How do you continue to be an inspiring light when your world is filled with darkness?"

This is the question I have been asking myself everyday of last week as I prepared to make a blog for this week.
I called my mentor to ask her this very question, but to my surprise she did not answer her phone. (Not that big of a surprise....she is a super lady boss after all!)

God had another objective. He reminded me that He instilled in me the gift of writing. Through writing I have found my emotional vice, as well as something I have grown passionate about. So I was instructed to simply write.....

But again I asked, how do I lead when I'm feeling defeated? God says, "Speak through your defeat!"

We've heard the phrase "Life is all about choices" too many times to count, but it's the TRUTH!

Personally, I choose to view my dark times as a challenge towards my inner light!

In these times of testing you have to remember to ask yourself "what is it that I am learning?"

We are human!! Though we are His children, It's only natural for your positive energy to run low. And trust & believe those negative demons are waiting ever so annoyingly for your power to go from F to E.

Want to know a horrific thing.....those little nagging demons will ALWAYS BE THERE!
The good news though is we are more than covered with God's grace & word, Jesus' blood, and the fulfillment of the Holy Spirit.

Cliche answer to the close minded. Liberating truth to the searching believer.

Trust me when I say God doesn't make mistakes, and nothing happens by coincidence. We are meant to fail so that we know how to rise. We are all called for a higher purpose, and with each step higher comes more responsibility, larger tests, and greater failures.

Remember, if a rose can sprout from under concrete or a lump of coal can be pressurized into a diamond, why can't you.....with the same amount of vibrations as nature.....rise and claim your chosen success?!

I use God's voice to speak through me when I have no voice, and that is who has authored this post today! (TBH: He actually has been the author of every post. Cause He knows I get writers block....problems of an over-thinker lol)

Now allow God to speak through you and your gifts so that you may continue to cultivate the world, even at your lowest points!

Romans 12:6-8 "Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness."
